CONSULFACE: A REVOLUTIONARY TOOL FOR FACIAL PLANNING SIMULATION

In modern aesthetic medicine, personalized design has become essential for enhancing patient experience and satisfaction. SHINING3D’s new ConsulFace module for the MetiSmile face scan software empowers physicians to make tailored adjustments based on each patient’s unique facial features, ensuring that treatment plans closely align with patient expectations. Personalized Facial Design and Real-Time Facial Simulation

ConsulFace enables physicians to make personalized adjustments based on each patient’s unique facial features. Using tools like brush and symmetric mirroring, physicians can flexibly refine facial contours, feature proportions, and overall aesthetics to ensure the design aligns with patient expectations, enhancing their sense of involvement. The design updates in real-time, allowing both physician and patient to immediately review and adjust as needed. This instant feedback not only improves design accuracy but also helps physicians more effectively explain surgical plans and anticipated treatment outcomes to patients.

The ConsulFace module is located in the Pre-design functionality bar. Once facial scanning data is obtained, the ConsulFace module can be activated for planning and design.

In the Planning section, there are two tools for designing facial morphology:

Free-Forming Adjustment: This mode allows for free adjustment of the 3D facial model while providing a symmetry deformation feature to ensure the symmetry of both sides of the face.

Profile Adjustment: This mode focuses on adjusting the facial side profile, further optimizing and enhancing the contours of the side view.

Each facial adjustment can be saved as a new plan, with up to nine different plans available for comparison. This flexibility helps in identifying the most personalized treatment plan suited to the patient.

Seamless Integration of Measurement and Comparison Functions

Another highlight of ConsulFace is its seamless integration of precise measurement and comparison functions, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of facial analysis. 

Physicians can perform detailed measurements on adjusted facial designs, ensuring the scientific validity of the treatment plan and improving patient evaluations. The software offers multiple measurement templates tailored to different clinical scenarios, along with a flexible free-measurement feature for measuring distances, angles, and areas, enhancing comprehensive facial proportion analysis.

The comparison feature visually displays changes in facial characteristics before and after planning, providing heat map  and sectional view  as auxiliary comparison tools for quantitative analysis of facial feature changes.

ConsulFace allows for one-click report generation of measurement results, supporting QR code scanning for easy access and PDF format downloads, facilitating sharing with patients.
