2. Main Uses of SS H-Endo Files:

   1. Shaping the Root Canal:

      • Hedström files are designed with a spiral, aggressive cutting edge that makes them effective for shaping and enlarging the canal.

      • Especially useful for pulling motion (filing) rather than rotating.

   2. Debridement (Cleaning):

      • Removes infected dentin, pulp tissue, and debris from the root canal.

      • Helps clean areas unreachable by irrigation alone.

   3. Retreatment Cases:

      • Very useful in removing old filling materials, like gutta-percha or pastes, due to their strong cutting ability.

   4. Tight and Curved Canals:

      • Because they’re made from stainless steel, they are rigid, which can help navigate straight, narrow canalseffectively.
