What is the difference between IntelliBite and the Bite Optimization in previous software versions? Which devices support the IntelliBite feature?
The previous Bite Optimization function primarily addressed cross-bite issues caused by scanning accuracy limitations. IntelliBite, on the other hand, is designed to accurately restore the patient’s real occlusion, avoiding cross-bite and over-opening risks due to scanning deviations.
Aoralscan Elf and Aoralscan Elite series can support IntelliBite.
Can Aoralscan Elf be used with all-in-one carts?
Yes. Aoralscan Elf can be seamlessly integrated with AoStation and Emotion all-in-one carts for a more convenient scanning experience.
Which Shining3D scanners come with Intelligent Plaque Management Suite?
Besides Aoralscan Elf, Intelligent Plaque Management Suite is available for free with the following SHINING 3D intraoral scanners: Aoralscan Elite / Elite Wireless；Aoralscan 3 / 3 Wireless / 3 Wireless Neo
Can Aoralscan Elf use the Coded Scanbody kit?
No. Aoralscan Elf does not support the Intraoral Photogrammetry workflow, and therefore cannot use the Coded Scanbody kit.
